He is survived by: his wife Susan Faye Newton; his children, Michael Newton (Laura) and Stacy Spence (Jimbob); his grandchildren, Desi Rush (Jeremy), Erin Bone (Quante), Victoria Newton Johnson (Allen Michael), Bethany Salter (Ethan) and Michael Seth Newton (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Braxton Bone, Nova Salter, Isaiah Rush, Maliah Salter, Paisley Dunagan and Ann Margaret Rush; his friend Leonard Wright; and his pets, Rock and Bit-Bit.
