Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton L. and Mary E. Brown; her husband William C. "Billy" Syphrit, Sr.; and her granddaughter Lindsey DeShea Syphrit. She is survived by: her daughter Dedra Brinson; her stepchildren, Charles Syphrit, Jr. and Becky Syphrit Finn; her sister Janet Allison; and her close friend Reese Mott. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
