He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carlos, Onzie Neil McDonald, James Ollis and Willie Yvonne Jones. He is survived by: his parents, Glenn McDonald and Jenny McDonald; his siblings, Carey McDonald (Anitia) and Cindy Griffin (Jeff); his nieces and nephews, T. J. Atchison, Tucker McDonald (Layla), Hannah Patton, Jordan Phillips (Justin), Janna Griffin, Alyssa McDonald, Carly Griffin and Kathy Ann McDonald; his great-nieces, Clara Patton, Emeryn and Maddi McDonald; and his great-nephew Davis McDonald. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Chad's honor to Bethel Cemetery fund.
