With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Uptain of Jackson, Alabama, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Elizabeth Griffith; and her husband John Uptain. She is survived by: her son David Stackhouse (Beth); her grandson Holt Stackhouse; her great grandchild Rowan Stackhouse; and her sisters, Coralie Toomey (John), Lisa Hafizi (Bahram) and Jane Waite (Leland). She is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.
