He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Wilson and Clyde Etta Wilson; his wife Faye Ryser Wilson; his siblings, James Edward Wilson and Bernice Armistead; and his son-in-law Steve Shoultz.

He is survived by: his children, Britt Dwayne Wilson, Jennifer Dawn Shoultz and Christie Denice Outlaw (Maurie Grimes Outlaw); his grandchildren, Austin Grey Wilson, Brittany Elizabeth Wilson, Jeremy Ivan Wilson (Tracy), Christopher Allen Shoultz (Anna), Stephen Randall Shoultz (Jennifer) and Graham Mack Outlaw (Brynn); his great grandchildren, Hailey Alise Wilson, Brysun Lee Wilson, Bransun Levi Wilson, Madalyn Ann "Madi" Shoultz, Maci Rebecca Shoultz, Emelia Grace Shoultz, Elliot Graham Shoultz and Stephen Graham Outlaw; and his sister Doris Hoven. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
