It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Chastain of Jackson, Alabama, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Barnett and Marguriete Watkins Barnett; her husband Kenneth Coleman Chastain; her grandsons, Scotty Alday and Woody Alday; and her sisters, Burma Jones, Joyce Few and Jan Alday.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Leewright, Nickie Alday (Grady), Angie House (Bob) and Sherry Keasler (David). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
