He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Turner and Sarah Jane McDonald Dolbear; his wife Roseann Halloran Dolbear; his daughter Marianne Hurst; and his siblings, Velma, Viola, Vivian, Bertha, Lottie Mae, Lillian, Marie, Anita, Lucille, Clyde and Chester.

He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Sullivan (Kendall); his grandchildren, Miranda Hancock (Rivers), Melanie Rivers, Morgan Bradley (Hurst), Jacob Sullivan, Juliann Sullivan and David Perry Dolbear; his great grandchildren, Brandon James, Lilly Bradley, Bryce Sullivan, Zachary Hancock and Benjamin Hancock; and his siblings, Gaynor Sanders, Laura Lee Smith and Gene Dolbear. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
