We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2023, at the age of 96, Clarence Carpenter of Jackson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Carpenter and Ellen Henson Carpenter; his wife Lucille Carpenter; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Carpenter, Dianne Elliott (Lyman) and Terry Carpenter (Andrea); his grandchildren, Brandy Pollard, Bryan Carpenter, Quintin Carpenter, Justin Carpenter, Stevie Carpenter, Morgan Garrett and Julian Carpenter; and his brother Dewey Carpenter. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flower, the family request donations be made to the Alabama Boys and Girls Ranch or to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
