She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Harris and Lottie Harris; her husband Robert E. Brooks, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Sherry Gentle Brooks; her grandsons, John Kevin Cassity and DJ Stines; and her siblings, Robert Bryant Harris, Mack Harris and Terry Sue DeMent.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Brooks, Jr. (Rob) and Vicki Brooks Foster (Charles); her grandchildren, Tracy Brooks Walker, Misty Brooks Stines and Robert'Erik'Brooks (Kayla); and her sisters, Mamie Nordan and Edith Mosley. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (34550 US-43, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
