He is survived by: his wife Melissa Fillingim; his children, Troy Fillingim, Hayden Osborn, Kelsea Fillingim McDonnell (Dusty McDonnell) and Heather Fillingim Walden (Walt Walden); his grandchildren, Kaelyn Fillingim Hill (Rance Hill), Ridge Walden, Stetson McDonnell, Maisyn Clare McDonnell and Wilks McDonnell; his great grandchildren, Flint Ellzey, Troy Taylor Hill and Gaston Hill; and his sisters, Judy Dismukes, Diane Smith (Wayne) and Janet Bass (Ronnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ted showed great strength and courage as he fought a long, hard battle with Parkinson's which eventually took his life.
