It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Janis Allen of Jack, Alabama, born in Troy, Alabama, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Barron and Thelma Floyd Barron; her husband Gary Cooper Allen; and her daughter Donna Michele May. She is survived by: her granddaughter Lyndsay May; her stepgrandsons, Matthew Vermilliano and Marcus May; and her son-in-law Gillis Carlton May, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
