He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Edmondson and Louise Barnes Edmondson; his wife Mary Carolyn Grantham Edmondson; his siblings, Blondell Shelley, Billy Edmondson and Tony Edmondson; and his granddaughter Tookie Edmondson.
He is survived by: his son Lyn; his daughter-in-law Wanda Edmondson of Jack, Alabama; his daughter Kellie Edmondson of Little Elm, Texas; and his sisters, Connie Hale of Ohio, Martha Redding (Allen) of Quitman and Judy Blankenship of Dothan, Alabama. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
