It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Lee Simmons of Jack, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Smith Simmons and Warren Randolph Simmons; and his brother Theron "Buddy" Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Shasta Smith (Scott) of Enterprise, AL, James Simmons (Fon) of Parker, CO and Jonas Simmons (Amber) of Semmes, AL; his siblings, Silas Simmons of Elba, AL, Douglas Simmons of Elba, AL, Deborah Hornsby of New Brockton, AL and Warnette "Sis" Walker of Elba, Alabama.; and his grandchildren, Noah Nolin of Enterprise, AL, Jayna Simmons of Parker, CO, Jenny Simmons of Parker, CO and Alaina Simmons.
