He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Steiner Decamp and Alfred DeCamp Sr.; and his siblings, Patricia Sprinkle, Carolyn Hall and Bernard Ballard.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sonja Bender (Michael) of Irvington, Rhonda Tate (Jonathon) of Irvington and Terry Davis (Theresa) of Fairhope. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
