She was predeceased by: her parents, Amon Boydston and Arminda Scott Boydston; her husband Arthur Leon "Jack" Smith; and her siblings, Edith Gann, Girtha Lee Stoner, Tola Ott, Flona Thornhill, Vera Abercrombie, Zula Jones, Herchial Boydston and Willard Boydston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melva Snapp and Janice Hatfield (Bradley); her grandchildren, Mike McMahon (Lynn), Ray Boydston, Mark McMahon (Katie), Angela Smith and Jason Hatfield (Marina); her great grandchildren, Lace Barksdale, Dylan McMahon, Holden Childress, Connor McMahon, Emma McMahon, Gary Michael McMahon, Kyden Hatfield, Gene Michael Boydston and Amanda Smith; and her sister Ivonene B. Thompson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
