She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ray and Pauline Jernigan Smith; her daughter Pam Freeman; her granddaughter Erika Starbuck; and her sister Glenda Smith (John Whitley).
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Phillips; her grandchildren, Christy Phillips, Tony Phillips and Misty Bachman; her great grandchildren, Hunter Finch, Nevaeh Bachman, Skye Atchley, Starr Starbuck and Samantha Starbuck; and her siblings, Shirley Gillespie and James Smith.
