He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lemuel and Ethel Dee Chunn; and his brother James Chunn. He is survived by: his wife Margie Ann Chunn of Vestavia Hills, AL; his children, Tony Ray Chunn of Medford, OR, David Chunn (Cooper) of Pinson, AL and Donna Brenneman (Geoff) of Medford, OR; his sisters, Luverene Smith (James) of Jackson, AL, Wilma Johnson of Bainbridge, AL and Ruth Mothershed of Huxford, AL; his grandchildren, Andrea Topham Frazier (Matthew), Darin Topham and Dylan Topham; and his great grandchildren, Alayna, Avelyn and Austin.
