It is with great sadness that we announce the death of ReJohnnie Scott Royster of Hurtsboro, Alabama, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George F. Royster, Jr.; her children, George F. Royster, III and Helen Ruth Summers; and her parents, Annie Lee Frazier and Richard Scott, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Royster, Iris Mathews, Kyle Royster (Marcene), Rex Royster, Brett Royster (Bonita), Lorne Royster (Sabrina) and Sarah Royster; her grandchildren, Kyle Wade Royster, II, Kendra Schrisse Lewis (Brian), Danielle Deniece Royster, Alyssa Danielle Jones, Antoinette Diane Castleberry (Martin), Andrea Johna Mathews, Jazzmine Linette Royster, William L. Wise (Rita), Octavia Marie Ogunleye, Ivan Evans (Anaysha) and Dalonda Deane Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Moriah Janae Roberson, Marlin Brett Jones of Mya-Jae, L. A, Wise, Orion Xavier Castleberry, Katie Alexis Mitchell and Ashley Monique Mitchell; and her siblings, Ruthel Samuels and Walter Frazier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
