She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tew and Mattie Baggett Tew. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Patton Monk (Judy), Paul Montgomery Monk (Rayline) and Sanford A. Monk, III (June); her grandchildren, Terry Wilkins (Ed), Ann Monk Aarons, Monty Monk (Amanda), Tina Haley (Mark) and Wendy Black; and her great grandchildren, Jennifer Hickman, Von Hargett, Michael Hargett, Levi Monk, Lauren Monk, Hannah Monk, Haley Monk, Meghan Shepherd, Casey Thornton, Sarah Wilkins and Jeremy Wilkins. She is also survived by six great-great grandchildren as well as extended family.
