She is survived by: her husband Will Dawson; her children, Theresa Williams (Derrick), Varnell Simpson, Lisa Pickett (Earnest), Cherylle Dawson and Will Dawson; her siblings, Thomas Brooks (Dorothy), Richard Brooks, Eugene Brooks (Belinda), Rosie Hubbard (Johnie), Virgie Stallworth and Bernice Brooks; her aunt Earlie B. Smith; and her sister-in-law Odessa Brooks. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great --grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives, friends.
