He is survived by: his daughter Donna Lucas Watts (Vernon); his daughter-in-law Janet Smith Lucas Beck (Cary); his son Michael Lee Lucas (Sue Ellen); his granddaughter Emily Watts Blenner (Tim); his great grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, William and Eloise Blenner; his grandson John Watts (Mitra Haeri); his great grandchildren, Parisa and Kayvon Watts; his grandchild Kenan Lucas (Catherine); his great grandchildren, Holmes, Mac and Gwen Lucas; his granddaughter Marguerite Lucas Armitage (Thom); his great grandchildren, Mimi and Luke Armitage; his grandchildren, Alice Lucas Roberts (Fletcher) and Michael Lucas Jr. (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Finley and John Lucas; his niece Leah Neel Zartarian (Gary); his sister-in-law Nancy Morse Torti; and his caregivers, Loellis Miller, Lorine Merritt, Dorothy Lockett and Marcia Miles.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (600 Governors Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
