With solemn reverence, we commemorate Stephen Eugene Murray in Huntsville, Alabama, whose life came to an end on March 11, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Murray and Frances Murray; and his sister Elizabeth Ann Murray. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Kirby Murray (Cassandra) and Kimberly Kolasa; and his grandsons, Josh Wright (Rachel), Timothy Wright, Jay Kolasa and Dylan Kolasa. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

“My deepest sympathy to the family of my great friend Steve Murray. Margaret, Kirby, and Kim please know how much your husband & dad meant to me & too so many people all over Madison County. Steve had such an impact on so many communities. My greatest memories was when Steve was principal @ Sparkman HS. Steve was an incredible leader as I remember from many trustee meetings. His love for his students was only surpassed by his love of his family. Please know that Pat & I will be praying for”
