She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Herndon and Cora Herndon. She is survived by: her husband Peter Bernstein; her daughters, Rebecca Wilson (Eric), Rachel Watson (Lance) and Robin Young (Terry); her grandchildren, Joshua Wilson (Rachel), Jaelyn Wilson Lazarz (Michael), Taylor Young, Peter Garrett Young, Lilianna Watson and Lawrence Riley Watson; her great grandchild Londyn Wilson; and her siblings, Naomi Greenburg, Vicki Brooks, Leslie Reimer, James Herndon and Kathie Herndon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery.
