He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frank Reavis, Jr. and Jolene Frame Kearley; his grandparents, George Frank Reavis, Sr., Bertie Berryhill Reavis, William Monroe Frame and Florence Throneberry Frame; his stepfather Thomas F. Kearley; and his siblings, Dan Anthony Reavis and Teresa Ann Reavis Nickel.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Ann Meeks; his children, John Reavis, Amy Reavis Lipscomb (Michael), Brandon and Matthew Reavis; the mother of his children Julie Reavis; his grandchildren, Jacob Reavis (Shelby), Courtney Reavis, Zac Deen (Katie), Christopher Deen, Carson Deen, Will Deen, Haley Lipscomb and Tyler Lipscomb; his great grandchildren, Blakelynn, Briley and Colter; his cousin Mickey Hunter (Robin); and also April Reavis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
