With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Dale Whisenant Sr. of Huntsville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arlen Whisenant and Tella Virgina Whisenant; and his sisters, Dovie Martin and Pat Payne. He is survived by: his son Roger D. Whisenant, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amber, Dakota, Samson and Sully; and his siblings, R. C. Whisenant, James Olen Whisenant, Phyllis Lewis, Rachel Manley, Gert Connally and Faye Putnam. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
