With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Norbin Stone Jr. (Huntsville, Alabama), born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Pryor Stone; his children, Betsy Rouse, Richard Stone III (Dickie), Lynn Benefield and Jennifer Wallace; and his grandchildren, Taylor Rouse, Katelyn Orlando, Alexa Rouse, Jacob LyBrand, Sara Lauryn Socha, John Robert Wallace Jr., Parker Wallace and Madeline Wallace. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Whitesburg Baptist Church South Campus (7300 Whitesburg Dr, Huntsville, AL 35803). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
