Richard Lynn Whitmore Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024, at the age of 87, Richard Lynn Whitmore of Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Lynn Whitmore to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lodice and Joe I. Whitmore, Sr.; and his brother Joe I. Whitmore, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathryn O'Nan Whitmore; his sons, Curt Whitmore, Cliff Whitmore (Treva), Rick Whitmore (Lisa) and Randy Whitmore (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Rachel Emerson (Ben), Joshua Taylor, Claire Whitmore (Charlie), Cathryn Anne Joly (Mark), Ryan Whitmore, Shelby Griessel (James), Sarah Whitmore (Brant Barker), David Whitmore (Melanie), Hannah Whitmore, Chandler Reeves (Alec), Katlyn Swayze (Adam), Haley Almond (Seth) and Connor Whitmore. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Asbury Church (980 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758).
