He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonora Vice and Jacob Winfield Waller, Jr.; and his brother Jacob Winfield Waller, III. He is survived by: his significant other Jan Waller; his children, Susan Waller Scherr of Idaho, Beth Waller of Birmingham, AL and Richard Lee Waller, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; and his grandchildren, Brianna Waller Grant (Jeremy), Jacob Scherr (Elizabeth), Berringer Scherr and Zachariah B. Waller. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in honor of Richard Waller may be made to the Whitesburg Baptist Church Building Fund, 6806 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, AL 35802.
