He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Steakley; and his siblings, Donna Steakley, Danny Steakley and Larry Steakley. He is survived by: his daughter Shelby Steakley; his stepchildren, Hannah Holmes (Michael), Maddie Bradford and Hayden Bradford; his grandchildren, Marleigh Holmes and Emilia Bradford-Tesema; his mother Violet Steakley; and his sisters, Linda Turner (Jeff) and Kim Steakley (Donna). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Steeplechase Clubhouse (6605 Steeplechase Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35806).
