We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 74, Richard Craig Cotten of Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard Craig may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Lattimer Higgins; his sister Shelly Cotten; and his stepfather George Quinn. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cotten; his daughters, Erica Leah Cotten, Tara Corrine Cotten and Megan Lynn Cotten; and his granddaughter Quinn Claire Ennis.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel (2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
