He was predeceased by: his sister Kathy Konyha (Jim); and his parents, Lee Black and Justine Black. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cheyne Black; his children, Jonathon Cheyne Black and Christine Alexander; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Alexander and Florence Jaye Alexander; his siblings, Mike Black (Shelley), Patricia Pecos (Tom), Chris Black (Lorrie), Rob Black (Kim) and Dan Black (Jane); and his friend Peter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (12901 Bailey Cove Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35803). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
