With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Noel Susie Saunders of Huntsville, Alabama, born in Jennings, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Noel Susie left this world on October 29, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Herschel Norris Knight. She is survived by: her mother Susie Jo Knight; her former husband Jim Saunders; her children, James Saunders and Sullivan Buerger (Andrew); her grandchildren, Grace Witherspoon, Brayden Buerger and Carter Buerger; and her sisters, Georgeanna Hanes (Norman), Allison Knight and Tisdale McDonald (Kyle).

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (600 Governors Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“I have been very blessed to have known Noel as a friend in our Birthday and Bunco group. She brought energy and fun to any gathering. I always appreciated the compassion and love she showed in everything she did. I was especially lucky to enjoy some of her wonderful homemade meals she would prepare for Bunco, or would send to one of us after medical or other hardships. My heart goes out to her family and other friends who loved her. She will be greatly missed! My deepest sympathy, Ann Byers”
