It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Barmore (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Howard Capus Barmore, Jr. and Gaitha Barmore; his siblings, Phillip Barmore, Bruce Barmore, Samuel Barmore, Eleanor Marks, Rev. Priscilla "Rose" Adkins, Irene Lott and Odessie Barmore; and his son Anthony Barmore.
He is survived by: his wife Antionette Barmore of Huntsville, Alabama; his siblings, Nancy Hagger (Harry), Mary Barmore-Reese (Stan), William Barmore (Evelyn) of Rockford and Christopher Barmore (Maryann) of Rockford; and his children, Ronald (Kansas City), Keith, Troy (Tonya), Howard, Kevin Bailey-Murray, Jonathan (Roslyn), Lawerence, Tyrone, Sheldon, Melvin Jr., Matthew, Damien, Marquis, Rhonda and Yacoma. He is also survived by five grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
