She is survived by: her sister Willa Susan Kinzer; her children, Frances "Frannie" May Morris and James Carter May, Jr.; her grandson Jacob "Jake" Bruce Bartlett; and her pets, B. B., Andy and Tippy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Stop, Inc. of Huntsville or the Greater Huntsville Humane Society, two causes near and dear to her heart.
