He is survived by: his wife Darlene Blalock; his daughter Rita Bell; his grandsons, Jeremy Hyatt (Amanda) and Casey Bell (Molly); his great grandchildren, Garrett Hyatt and Lane Hyatt; his sister Inez Ayers; and his half-brothers, Freddie Shelton and John Robert Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
