Though Judith may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Self and Carrie Self; her husband Richard Smith; and her brother Billy Smith. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Sue Arborgast, Loretta Sayles and Tommy Smith; her sons, Douglas Smith (Beth) and Donald Smith (Cynthia); and her grandchildren, Megan Smith and Jason Smith (Kelsey). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Huntsville Memory Gardens (6810 University Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35806).
