He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Dean Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Rose Cowles Smith; his wife Sylvia Smith; his children, Joshua Ervin Smith, Jr. and Emma Rose Smith; and his siblings, Jimmy Dean Smith and Melissa Mae Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home (3552 Hwy 231, Laceys Spring, AL 35754). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
