With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Johnnie Marie Swaim of Huntsville, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crouthers and Minnie Mae Rodman McMurtrie; her husband William "Bill" D. Swaim, Jr.; and her siblings, Evelyn Parvin, Bertie Mae Hovis, Lorene Greenhaw, Jean Thomas and William McMurtrie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeri Swaim Kirkpatrick (Tim) and Joni Swaim; her nephew Jimmie D. Parvin (Billy Collins); and her sister-in-law Barbara Swaim. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).
