He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Lee Salyers and Alice Mayfield Salyers; and his brother Dorris Lee Salyers. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his sons, Steven Mark Salyers and Brian Lee Salyers; and his stepchildren, Lynne Becker (Crawford), Ralph Crawford, Rhonda Cooper (Crawford), Patricia Carr (Crawford) and Gregory Crawford. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
