He is survived by: his children, Danielle T. Clemons (Terrance), Bryan R. Tyus (Stacy) and Jamie Tyus; and his siblings, Mary F. Hassey, Jody T. McCuiston (Phil), Jackie L. Tyus, Kathy T. Jones (Luther) and Alicia R. Pettis (Roy). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A committal service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the same location.
