She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Hammonds, Sr. and Anna Eugene Jones Hammonds; her husband John Nora Gordon; and her son John Stanley Gordon. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Ricardo "Rick" and Rick Gordon. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Royal Funeral Home (4315 Oakwood Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church (28520 SW Wall St, Madison, AL 35756).
