Janet Brooks left this world on February 12, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas DeClouet and Jeanne DeClouet; her spouse Thomas Whiteside; and her sisters, Jean DeClouet Duhon and Merrill DeClouet Dore.
She is survived by: her son Stephen of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Bryan (Emily) of Madison and Allison of Parker, Colorado; and her sisters, Carol Dillon of Houma and Frances Sooter of Abilene, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (625 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, AL 35802). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
