She was predeceased by: her husband Walt Monroe; her parents, Roy Graham and Nellie; her grandmother Nellie; her siblings, Bobby, Howard Graham and Elizabeth Jarrett; her son Richard Monroe; her granddaughter Megan Monroe; her great grandchild Hunter Pugh; and her pets, Shorty and Baby.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Monroe (Claire) and Jeanice Monroe Yant (John); and her grandchildren, Kristy Hutto (Brent), Craig Monroe Hathcock (Mandy), Melia Nicole Parker (Ricky), Sabrina Yant and Josh Yant. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel (2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
