He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Vaughn Thomas; his parents, Isaac Thomas and Georgia Thomas; and his sisters, Janie Lambert and Inez Lester.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Thomas Miller (Patrick) and Sally Thomas Hilliard; his granddaughters, Judith Adeline Miller and Mary O'Neal Miller; his sisters, Marie Rich (Jimmy) and Juanita Turpin; and his brother-in-law Louis Vaughn (Pat). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (228 Mt Zion Rd, Huntsville, AL 35806). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
