He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G Stitt and Genevieve Stitt (Kehoe); his wife Virginia Stitt (Miller); and his pets, Fritz and Buddy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis G. Stitt (Josephine) of Altoona, PA and Judith Cardone (Gregory) of Pinellas Park, FL; his cousin Karen Stanley of Altoona, PA; his daughters, Mary Lee Stitt (Joey Montz) of Pelham, Alabama, Amy Stitt of Huntsville, Alabama and Becky Plott (Charles) of Huntsville, Alabama; his grandchildren, Justin Plott and Ashlyn Plott; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Plott, Bryan Plott (Morgan) and Landon Montz; his pet Izzy; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Clowson (Gerald) of Newark, DE and Richard A. Miller of Altoona, PA; and his aunts, Patricia Klausman of Altoona, PA and Marjorie Edwards of Altoona, PA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
