He is survived by: his wife Monica Harris Geis of Huntsville; his daughter Shannon Geis (Damon Daniels) of Midlothian; his former wife Elaine Aikens Loy; his sons, Peter Geis (Alison Fain-Geis) of Madison and Kevin Geis (Casey Blackburn Geis) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Emma Daniels of Midlothian, Virginia, Owen and June Anne Geis of Madison, Alabama.; his brothers, Gregg Geis (Cynthia) of Huntsville and Steven Geis (Sandra) of St. Petersburg, Florida; his nieces and nephews, Leah Geis of St. Petersburg, Shannon Harris of Alpharetta, Georgia, Geoff Geis of Chicago, Ian Geis (Jessica Kowalik) of St. Petersburg and Chad Harris (Michele) of Auburn, Alabama; and his great-nephews, Finnis Geis of Chicago, Owen, Grant and Ethan Geis of St. Petersburg, Florida..
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (13550 Chaney Thompson Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35803). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
