He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Howard, Elizabeth Cagle, Albert, Shirley Maples and Virginia McCough; his niece Precious Maples; his uncle Gary Majors; and his aunts, Deborah George and Debbie Schrimsher.
He is survived by: his children, Amber Maples (Jason), Dawn Maples, Maddie Maples and David Tucker Maples; his stepchildren, Casey Hornbuckle and Nacole Farley (Wesley); his grandchildren, Keelie Putnum, Lorelai Johnson and Wade Hale; his parents, Janice Maples and Albert E. Maples; his brother David Maples; his close friend Jessica Dempsey; and his aunts and uncles, Howard Cagle (Donna), Pam Majors, Kathy Mahan (Randall), Randy Maples (Bobbie), Terry Maples (Shelia) and Steve Maples (Blair). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
