He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hershell Hale and Lillie Ricketts Hale; his former wife Elizabeth Hale; his wife Ruth Hale; and his brother Larry D. Hale.
He is survived by: his sons, Max Curtis Hale (Nancy) of New Hope, AL, Dexter Arnold Hale (Kathy) of Huntsville, AL and Darryl Gene Hale (Shelia) of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Jason Hale, Jennifer Penney, Jacob Hale, Jessica Christensen, Alicia Kelly, Anna Hale, Jennifer Pinkerton and John Honea; and his nephews, Scott Hale, Adam Hale, Matthew Hale and Kevin Hale. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Cemetery (287 Old Winchester Rd, New Market, AL 35761).
