We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 93, Edith Jones Thompson of Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Jones and Perna Jones; her siblings, Wayne Jones of Chattanooga, TN, Billie Hughey of Houston, TX, Kerry Jones of Scottsboro, AL and Jerry Jones of Skyline, AL.; her husband Howard Thompson Sr. of Trenton, AL; and her daughter Deborah Ann Thompson (Debbie).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Harris (David), Tasca Wirick (Chuck) and Howard Thompson (Darinda); and her grandchildren, Amy Williams, Ashley Steelman, Tiffany Burgess (Keith), Brooke Lyles (Rodney), Blake Thompson (Carrie), Brittany Honea (Corey) and Kelsey Smith (Jason). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Berryhill Funeral Home & Crematory (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
