We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 92, Edgar Dale Hutson of Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Edgar Dale may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Merle and Phoebe Glancy Hutson. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Leslie Dale Hutson (Talitha) of Scottsboro, AL, Cathy Hutson Jowers (John) of Rabun Gap, GA and Deborah Hutson Bagdigian (Robert) of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (12901 Bailey Cove Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35803). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
